CLIMBS Life and General Insurance Cooperative proudly marked another milestone on the international stage as Vice President Ms. Donna C. Dizon represented the organization at the International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation (ICMIF) Asia and Oceania Association (AOA) Seminar held in Seoul, Korea, from November 13–14, 2025.

With the theme “To continue being an organization for the benefit of its members,” the seminar brought together cooperative and mutual insurance leaders from across Asia and the Pacific to share insights, strengthen collaboration, and discuss strategies for sustainable and member-focused development. Alongside the participation of President and CEO Mr. Noel Raboy, CLIMBS proudly showcased its ongoing innovations in inclusive insurance and its growing commitment to climate adaptation and resilience initiatives.
During the event, CLIMBS highlighted the importance of developing insurance products and programs that are accessible, affordable, and grounded in cooperative values, ensuring that member needs remain at the forefront of every decision. This aligns strongly with CLIMBS’ mission of advancing people-centered and value-driven insurance solutions, especially for underserved communities.
A key highlight of the seminar was CLIMBS’ involvement in the Young Leaders Program—a platform dedicated to empowering emerging professionals in the cooperative and mutual insurance sector. On November 14, Assistant Vice Presidents Amie Grace Sabornido and Cielo Jaraula represented CLIMBS among rising leaders from across Asia, including peers from NH Nonghyup Life Insurance and Zenkyoren Insurance. Their participation reinforced CLIMBS’ focus on cultivating the next generation of cooperative leaders equipped with fresh ideas, innovation mindset, and strong values.

Throughout the program, CLIMBS engaged in dynamic discussions alongside distinguished executives such as Yoon Hae-jin, CEO of NH Nonghyup Life Insurance, and Yoshihiko Murayama, President of the Board of Directors of Zenkyoren Insurance. These exchanges fostered strengthened partnerships, shared learning, and the development of stronger and more resilient cooperative networks across the Asia-Pacific region.
CLIMBS’ active role in the seminar reaffirms its commitment to global cooperation, knowledge-sharing, and leadership development, ensuring that the cooperative insurance movement remains strong, sustainable, and future-ready.
As CLIMBS continues its journey, its message remains clear: mutual protection must stay accessible, innovative, and impactful—not only for Filipino communities, but for cooperatives and members worldwide.
