Fermin is a leader in the cooperative sector, having served as President and CEO of CLIMBS from 1993 to 2017. He also held key positions as Chairperson of CSCEIFC and CIMAC, and as President and CEO of Cosmopolitan CLIMBS Life Plan, Inc. With a career spanning over 40 years, Fermin has been a steadfast advocate and influential figure in advancing the cooperative movement in the Philippines.

Atty. Daniel is the Director of Toril Community Cooperative since 2004. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Cosmopolitan CLIMBS Life Plan, Inc. He was the in-house Lawyer and Legal Manager of Anflo Group of Companies from 1989-2006.

Bukidnon Government Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative
Ruth brings experience in both cooperative leadership and public service. She previously served as the Assistant Department Head of the Provincial Human Resource Management Office (PHRMO) at the Provincial Government of Bukidnon and as Treasurer of CLIMBS. Her leadership roles include Chairperson of the NATCCO Election Committee, Chairperson of BUGEMCO, Board Member at NATCCO, and Vice Chairperson of the ICA Women’s Committee.

Alma S. Ferreros
San Dionisio Credit Cooperative
Alma is also a Director of National Cooperative Marketing Federation and Metro Manila Savings Federations Cooperative. She is the current Chairperson of Gender and Development (GAD) Committee of NCMF and a member of the Business Development Committee from 2022 to present.

Atty. Penelope H. Hernandez
PECCI Multipurpose Cooperative
Atty. Penelope is a lawyer and active member of the PLDT Employees Credit Cooperative, Inc. (PECCI) since 2019. She has contributed to strengthening governance and protecting member interests, previously serving on the Legal Committee and now as Data Privacy Officer, ensuring compliance and safeguarding member information. She is also a member of the Conciliation and Mediation Committee of CLIMBS, supporting dispute resolution and amicable settlements. Her commitment to cooperative excellence is reflected in her completion of the Cooperative Masterclass with the University of Dundee, Co-operative College UK, and NAFECOOP, as well as a program in Manchester, UK.

Veejay P. Literal
Sta. Cruz Savings and Development Cooperative
Veejay is a dedicated cooperative leader from Sta. Cruz Savings and Development Cooperative, based in Poblacion Este, Santa Cruz, Ilocos Sur. She has been serving as a Member of the Board of Directors since 2013. She is an active advocate and trainer on Gender and Development (GAD) and Climate Change, promoting inclusive and sustainable practices within the cooperative sector. She currently serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Board of the Northern Luzon Federation of Cooperatives in Baguio City, further advancing cooperative development in the region.

Dr. Edward L. Banawa, Ed.D, D.E.
MSU-IIT National Multi-Purpose Cooperative
Dr. Edward began his career in 1981 as Chief of Field Operations at the College of Forestry before joining the MSU-IIT College of Education in 1987 as an instructor. His dedication to education led to his promotion to Associate Professor in 1994 and Full Professor in 2012. Beyond academia, he served as Director of the Department of Student Affairs from 2011 to 2020 and currently holds the position of Chairperson of the Board of Directors at MSU-IIT NMPC (2024–2026), reflecting his enduring commitment to leadership, education, and cooperative development.

Joey is the Vice Chairman of Sta. Ana Multi-Purpose Cooperative. He is a former Director and Ethics Committee Chair of CLIMBS and a former Director of Coop Bank of Davao del Sur and Interim Director of Consolidated Coop Bank.

Oro Savings and Sharing Multi-Purpose Cooperative
Atty. Isidro is a seasoned lawyer based in Cagayan de Oro City, with over 30 years of legal practice. In addition to his legal career, he served one term as a Representative in the Philippine Congress under the Adhikaing itinataguyod ng Kooperatiba (ATING-KOOP) Partylist, advocating for the interests of the cooperative sector.

Josie is the CEO of Most Holy Rosary Multipurpose Cooperative, leading strategic initiatives in financial inclusion, enterprise integration, and member focused services. She also actively supports partnerships with CLIMBS Life and General Insurance Cooperative to extend accessible insurance solutions for members.

Eleonor is a cooperative leader and Social Work graduate from Zamboanga City. She is a wife and a mother of three daughters. Since joining MEMPCO in 2002, she has risen from Administrative Officer to CEO, contributing over two decades to community development and member empowerment. She enjoys reading and values a calm, home-centered life.

Oriel is currently the Chairperson of the Board of Sta. Catalina Credit Cooperative, a position he has held since 2024, and was the Vice Chairperson of the Board in 2023. He is also a Board of Director of the National Federation of Cooperative Primaries in the Philippines (NaFeCoop). Mr. Omallao is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by profession, with experience in external and internal audit, tax practice, and in the academe as a part-time college instructor for future accountants. He also has a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) degree with a field of specialization in corporate management.

Sheila is the Chief Executive Officer of Providers Multipurpose Cooperative (PMPC) and Head of the Providers Administration and Fiscal Office (PAFO), leading initiatives in governance, financial discipline, and enterprise development. She began her career in PMPC as a Specialist in 2022 and rose through the ranks to become CEO in 2025 recognizing her strong leadership and commitment to institutional governance. She is known for championing accountability, system discipline and sustainable growth for the cooperative and its members.

She has four years of experience as a director and has actively served in various committees, demonstrating her expertise in governance, financial management, and risk oversight. She has completed key cooperative trainings and currently represents Panabo Multi-Purpose Cooperative, bringing integrity, expertise, and a strong commitment to service in the cooperative sector.

Fr. Francis B. Lucas
Infanta Credit & Development Cooperative
Fr. Francis is a catholic priest by vocation and profession with extensive experience in holistic human development, social communication, education and leadership across faith-based, nonprofit, and media sectors. He has a proven track record in organizational development, environmental advocacy, and community engagement. He is an international lecturer and consultant with exposure to global institutions including UNDP and FAO, and is passionate about serving rural and marginalized communities through values-driven leadership.

Evelyn C. Remo
Barbaza Multi-Purpose Cooperative
Evelyn is the Vice Chairperson of the Board and the Chairperson of the Education Committee of Barbaza Multi-Purpose Cooperative (2021–2025). She also serves as Chairperson of the Antique Federation of Cooperatives and Secretary of the Education Committee of CLIMBS. Professionally, she is the Chief Education Supervisor under the School Governance and Operations Division of the Department of Education in Antique.
