CLIMBS Life and General Insurance Cooperative has entered into a strategic partnership with Forest Foundation Philippines to strengthen climate resilience, promote environmental sustainability, and expand inclusive protection for vulnerable communities across the country.
The collaboration brings together the expertise and shared commitment of both organizations to develop innovative Climate and Disaster Risk Financing and Insurance (CDRFI) solutions that help communities prepare for and recover from climate-related risks. Key initiatives include the expansion of Weather Protect Insurance (WPI), the advancement of We Protect Her, a women-centered resilience program, and the continued implementation of Plant a SEED, a mangrove restoration initiative that supports ecosystem conservation and climate adaptation.
By integrating climate risk financing, community empowerment, and nature-based solutions, CLIMBS and Forest Foundation Philippines aim to strengthen livelihoods, enhance disaster resilience, and contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive future.
