Part of maintaining an ideal work-life balance includes checking our wellbeing and nutrition. Hence, CLIMBS Life and General Insurance Cooperative in coordination with CLIMBS GAD Committee takes a step towards adhering to the U.N’s Sustainable Development Goals: SDG #3, which ensures good health and wellbeing for all at every age group, conducted a seminar and free consultation with Dr. Aaron D. Oliveros on the topic “Empowering Prostate Health: Understanding Prevention and Care” for male employees, and shortly after, Ms. Rosalita Mae Palalon, RN. discussed “Nutrition at Work: The Effect of Diet on Health and Productivity” to identify key factors affecting the employees performance in relation to their diet, lifestyle, and pre-existing health conditions.

The program started off with an opening remarks from DRA. Irma E. Cruz from the CLIMBS Gender and Development Committee Chairperson, followed by Dr. Aaron D. Oliveros’ talk on Prostate Health, also, a special message from one of the GAD committee member, Mr. Antonio Dela Cruz, then Health and Nutrition by Ms. Rosalita Mae Palalon, RND and lastly, it ended with a closing remarks from another GAD committe member, Ms. Janette B. Romero. The free consultations were conducted after the seminar which took place at the CLIMBS Head Office at the Fire Station in Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City last January 19, 2024. The program was attended by over 100 employees onsite and online via Zoom for branch offices nationwide.
