Rounding off the series of willingness-to-pay surveys conducted by the Weather Protect Insurance (WPI) team in multiple provinces in the Philippines, on March 7, 2024, CIAT Senior Research Associate, Mr. Elwyn James Leyte, joins CLIMBS top management for an insightful discussion at Head Office in Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City. Mr. James Leyte presented the updates on the ImpactSF funding, wherein CLIMBS, representing the insurance sector, participated alongside CGIAR in the technical aspect and LandBank of the Philippines and ASEAN in funding the project. Including the initial results of the willingness-to-pay surveys and product mastery with regards to the drought insurance product to CLIMBS’ CEO and President, Mr. Noel D. Raboy, VP for Operations, Ms. Blessy Lagang-Cumba, VP for Marketing, Ms. Rowena R. Abella, VP for Admin and Corp. Planning, Ms. Donna C. Dizon, and OIC-AVP for Admin and Corp. Planning, Mr. Ruel Arsua. Additionally, the Weather Protect Insurance team led by Project Manager, Mr. Rueland Mark Marapao, Project Research & MEL Officer, Ms. Juliette Virgula, and Project Assistant, Mr. Miguel Toledo were also present during the discussion.
