Through its extensive network of over 4,000 member cooperatives, CLIMBS’ innovative Weather Protect Insurance has disbursed an estimated ₱6,215,006.02 in payouts to affected coops.

From October to November 2025, over 175 cooperatives across multiple municipalities received much-needed financial assistance in the wake of recent calamities. This timely support has played a crucial role in helping affected communities rebuild and regain stability.

Many of CLIMBS’ member cooperatives have utilized the assistance to provide direct aid to farmers, particularly in purchasing essential agricultural inputs such as seedlings, fertilizers, pesticides, and insecticides. These resources are vital for restarting agricultural activities, ensuring continued crop production, and preventing long-term economic setbacks for farming families whose livelihoods were disrupted by the disasters.

This initiative has been made even more efficient and impactful through the invaluable partnership with the IBISA Network. Their support enabled a seamless and well-coordinated payout process, ensuring that funds were released quickly and distributed fairly to cooperative members across diverse areas and municipalities. The effectiveness of this collaboration underscores the importance of strong partnerships in empowering communities and fostering resilience in the face of adversity.

Together, we continue to strengthen cooperative systems, uplift affected members, and pave the way toward sustainable recovery and long-term resilience.
