Bangkok, Thailand – CLIMBS proudly participates in the 8th Credit Union/Cooperative Regulators Conference, held at the Ambassador Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand, from February 18-22, 2025. This prestigious gathering brings together key regulators and cooperative leaders from across the region to discuss “Asian Credit Union Regulatory Regime: Current Needs and Future Possibilities.”
Representing CLIMBS at this significant event are President & CEO Mr. Noel Raboy, Vice President and CEO & Principal of the Co-operative College of the Philippines Ms. Donna Dizon, and Vice President and CEO of the National Federation of Cooperatives in the Philippines Ms. Rowena Abella. They are joined by Mr. Alexander Raquepo, the newly appointed Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Chairperson and Chairperson of the CLIMBS Election Committee. Their participation underscores CLIMBS’ commitment to fostering collaboration, innovation, and sustainability in the cooperative sector.
The conference serves as a platform for engaging discussions on policy frameworks, financial resilience, and regulatory advancements essential to the growth of credit unions and cooperatives in Asia.
