“Partnership for the Goals” refers to Goal 17 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which aim to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. Goal 17 specifically emphasizes the importance of collaboration and partnerships for the goals that are essential for accelerating progress towards sustainable development.

By bridging the gaps in the agriculture sector through cooperativism, CLIMBS top management and the WPI team holds Building Climate Resilience: a roundtable discussion with stakeholders along with representatives from both local and international partners from the Department of Agriculture – Philippines, ACDI/VOCA, Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP), GIZ and UN Women/UN Environment Programme which is held at Rekado Filipino Comfort Cuisine, Davao City on February 6, 2024.

The event aims to create an impactful dialogue and stir numerous insights from different perspectives with regards to how the Weather Protect Insurance has alleviated the livelihoods of Filipino farmers suffering from the consequences of climate-related risks. By working together in collaborative and inclusive partnerships, we can overcome shared challenges and build a more prosperous, equitable, and sustainable future for generations to come.
