May 2, 2024CLIMBS Life and General Insurance Cooperatives takes part in the Coastal Clean Up Activity last April 20, 2024 at Brgy. Lapasan, Coastal Road. Along with Climbs Ambassadress for Climate Action, Ms. Katheryn Tan Guipetacio, who recently placed as the 1st Runner-up of Miss Cagayan de Oro 2023, raising the banner on Climate Action and increasing environmental awareness through her platform, joined in picking up the garbage plastics and segregating waste materials during the event. Over 4,000 estimated participants collected 864 trash bags with an estimated of 12,960 kgs. along the shoreline. Together, let us honor our planet and pledge to protect its natural beauty and diversity by limiting our consumption of single-use plastics and other malleable materials that pose a greater harm to our coastal areas. By taking small steps, we can take meaningful actions towards a greener, more sustainable future.
