CLIMBS Life and General Insurance Cooperative will celebrate its 52ⁿᵈ Annual General Assembly with the theme, “A Climate Insurance for Year 1: Let’s Connect, Lead, Inspire, Motivate, Build, and Sustain!” this April 25 – 26. 2024 at the Marriott Hotel, Fourth District, 2 Resorts Drive Pasay City, Manila, 1309 Metro Manila.

This momentous celebration will pave the way for financial risk management to infiltrate the Philippine economy and mark a new journey for climate insurance to combat and alleviate the dire effects of climate change in the country. As a cooperative insurance company, we are reaffirming our commitment to the U.N.’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which includes SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 13: Climate Action, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. CLIMBS elevates its climate action initiatives to a higher level, where it epitomizes a beacon of hope, celebrating the essence of what can be achieved when individuals unite with a common purpose.

CLIMBS invites its members, partners, and affiliates engage in promoting sustainability and keeping in mind the communities in the grassroots level and the agriculture sector with the help of our local and international partners the Insuresilience Solutions Fund (ISF), IBISA, Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT including the support of the government sector, the Cooperative Development Authority and the Insurance Commission.
