On May 17, 2022, CLIMBS Life and General Insurance Cooperative met with the Asian Development Bank representative Arup Kumar Chatterjee, Principal Financial Sector Specialist, Sustainable Development and Climate Change Department, ADB and discussed potential collaboration on the Enhanced Weather Protect Insurance project with the cooperatives in the pilot phase and global partners: the International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation (ICMIF), IBISA, Global Parametrics and The Alliance of Bioversity International Center and CIAT for the benefit of the cooperatives, agripreneurs and farmers in the Philippines.
CLIMBS President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Noel D. Raboy was joined by CLIMBS Vice President for Marketing, Ms. Rowena R. Abella, Vice President for Admin and Corporate Planning/ CIM Executive Director, Ms. Donna C. Dizon and CLIFSA Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Henry M. Lopez and Regional Sales Manager for South NCR, Mr. Rolen Talisik. Project partner CIAT was represented by Mr. James Elwyn D. Leyte, Senior Research Associate in the Agriculture Systems.
