November 26, 2021For the first time in almost two years, the Philippines had reopened in-person classes last November 15, even as the COVID-19 pandemic continues. The Department of Education (DepEd) has so far approved 100 public schools that took part in the pilot run of limited face-to-face classes that started last November 15. In relation to the pilot run of limited face-to-face classes, Iponan National High School, the very first partner-school of CLIMBS LIFE and GENERAL INSURANCE COOPERATIVE through CLIMBS CARES’ Adopt-A-School-Program, is currently preparing their school and classrooms for the implementation of face-to-face classes that will commence 2nd Quarter of 2022.
To help ease the educational lives of the learners, as well as the teachers and faculty, CLIMBS LIFE and GENERAL INSURANCE COOPERATIVE through CLIMBS CARES’ donated ( 8 ) eight Smart TVs, ( 8 ) eight Speakers and (13) thirteen microphones to Iponan National High School as the 2nd part of Adopt-A-School-Program as part of Coop Month festivities.
The turnover ceremony and signing of agreement took place at Iponan National High School campus, Iponan Cagayan de Oro City, last November 29, 2021 which was attended by Mr. Noel D. Raboy MBAex (CLIMBS President and CEO), Ms. Donna C. Dizon (VP for Admin and Corporate Planning & CIM Executive Director), Mr. Reynaldo C. San Andres (VP for Finance and CFO), Ms. Blesilda L. Cumba (VP for Operations), Ms. Marietta V. Magallones (HRAD Manager); and CLIMBS Youth Advocates: Mr. John Denber T. Palmere (System and Program Analyst), Ms. Arlyn Mae Abueva (Digital Marketing Specialist), Ms. Marichelle B. Robril (Claims Specialist Microinsurance) and Ms. Rosemarie Aling (Executive Assistant of VP for Sales), together with Mr. Alain Rey Villanueva (CLIMBS CARES Lead), Ms. Princess Diane Ucab (Company Nurse), and Mr. Jade Anthony C. Pilongo (Network Operations Officer).
