September 29, 2023“There is hope in the midst of the storm.” —CLIMBS President and CEO, Noel D. Raboy
With climate change brewing more typhoons and rising temperature levels at a more erratic pace in the Philippines, CLIMBS and partner cooperatives are paving the way for parametric insurance to combat mitigated risks through innovative solutions by responding to the call for action starting from the grassroots level and the heart of the Philippine economy—the agriculture sector—by aiding farmers, agripreneurs, and the agri-industry in adapting to the digitalization of cooperative sustainability.
Recently, CLIMBS President and CEO, Noel D. Raboy presented a brief overview of CLIMBS and introduced the positive impact of the Weather Protect Insurance to global members and partners in the Asia and Oceania Association (AOA) seminar 2023, at the Fullerton Hotel in Sydney, Australia this September 27, 2023.
CLIMBS, as a member of the Asia & Oceania Association of the ICMIF (AOA), participates in the AOA seminar as it provides an avenue for members to publicly present the innovative concepts of their organizations and spark solutions-based discussions, foster sustainable development, and empower member economic participation all of which will propel their organizations and provide them a worldwide competitive advantage.
