On June 27, 2023, The Weather Protect Insurance (WPI) team, led by Rueland Mark Marapao, WPI Project Manager, visited Mactan Island Multi-Purpose Cooperative and Guadalupe Community MPC along with Assistant Prof. Joshua T. Dean of University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Merboy Iglesias, Regional Sales Manager of Region 7.
During the visit, the WPI team provided a detailed explanation of the dashboard access and how it can be used to monitor weather-related risks and claims and address questions and concerns about the Weather Protect Insurance.
Assistant Prof. Joshua T. Dean engaged with the GMs of both cooperatives to gather insights about the Weather Protect Insurance. This collaborative effort is indicative of the importance of gathering diverse perspectives to inform and improve the design of products and services that make a positive impact on people’s lives.
Overall, the visit was a success in addressing concerns and providing valuable information to Mactan Island MPC and Guadalupe Community MPC.
