CLIMBS Life and General Insurance Cooperative and ACDI/VOCA have partnered to collaborate on smart agriculture and innovative farming solutions. This collaboration is aimed at enhancing CLIMBS’ ability to build resilience and sustainability for its member-owners.

A memorandum of understanding has been signed to solidify this initiative during the 2nd quarter of Weather Protect Insurance Community of Practice with a theme, “Helping Cooperatives and Agripreneurs Build Resilient and Sustainable Communities and Climate Action through Digital Solutions”, last June 20, 2023 at Sequoia Hotel, Timog Avenue Quezon City, Manila. Signed by CLIMBS President and CEO, Mr. Noel Raboy, and ACDI/VOCA Acting Country Director, Mr. Jose Romeo Ebron.

The ceremonial signing was witnessed by Climate Change Commissioner, Hon. Albert P. Dela Cruz Sr., Insurance Commission Deputy Commissioner, Atty. Randy G. Serrano, USAID Project Management Specialist, Mr. Emil Francis de Quiros, Co-operative College of the Philippines CEO and Principal, Ms. Donna Dizon, and members of CLIMBS Board of Directors.
