As part of its ongoing efforts to foster global collaboration and drive innovation in inclusive insurance, CLIMBS participated in a significant joint meeting with IBISA Network, the Insurance Commission, Luxembourg Insurance Commission, and the MicroInsurance Network (MiN) on February 24, 2025, in Luxembourg.
Representing CLIMBS were President & CEO Mr. Noel D. Raboy and Vice President Ms. Donna C. Dizon, who engaged in high-level discussions with key industry leaders, including IBISA CEO Maria Iborra, Philippine Insurance Commissioner Atty. Reynaldo Regalado, Luxembourg Non-Life Commissioner Stephanie Valรฉrie, MiN Executive Director Matthew Genazzini, and Senior Manager Asier Achutegui.
The Insurance Commission of the Philippines, led by Commissioner Atty. Reynaldo Regalado, played a vital role in the discussions, offering valuable insights into regulatory frameworks and the significance of inclusive insurance policies in the country. Their presence and support reinforced the commitment to strengthening international partnerships that benefit vulnerable communities.
The meeting centered on strengthening international partnerships to promote inclusive insurance solutions, particularly in addressing the challenges faced by vulnerable communities. Discussions covered innovative risk transfer mechanisms, regulatory frameworks, and digital insurance models that can enhance financial protection for underserved sectors.
