On January 19, 2024, CLIMBS recently held a refresher’s course on Life Products and Flow Session for new employees from 1–5 PM at the CLIMBS Fire Station at the Head Office, Bulua, Cagayan de Oro. In addition to preparing for life’s unforeseen circumstances, several insurance policies and product details have been discussed as a way to invest, provide financial security, and inform individuals about the importance of being insured.
The opening remarks of the orientation was led by VP for Operations, Ms. Blessy Cumba, Marketing Manager, Ms. Jocelyn Duka-Bautista discussed Life and Non-Life products, Mr. Eidnolb Sanchez also introduced the process flow in the Underwriting department, followed by Ms. Jonaflor Valdez tackled about the DQC/RI, and lastly, Ms. Elladora Agcopra who briefly shared the flow process in the Claims Department. Subsequently, a Q&A forum was held in which the speakers also highlighted different types of insurance products tailor-fitted to their consumers’ needs, financial capabilities, and other life and non-life insurance schemes.
Over 70 employees and staff members attended the orientation onsite and online via Zoom including the employees from branch offices nationwide. The orientation also served as a reminder of the company’s goals and the value of the services and insurance products it provides, all within the framework of its social responsibility as both an insurance company and a cooperative gearing towards being a climate insurance provider in the Philippines in the upcoming years. As a growing and developing organization, CLIMBS aims to foster a culture of continuous learning and increasing its employees’ efficiency when it comes to their knowledge of the insurance products and organization’s internal process flow.
