Some 18 of the 20 members of the first batch of Management Training Program(MTP) of CLIMBS flew to Makati City to defend their respective Strategic Management(STRAMA) thesis before a panel composed of the members of the Executive Management Team, the Insurance Institute for Asia and the Pacific(IIAP) Executives and hand-picked professors from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Business.
The CLIMBS Management Training Program(MTP) is an intensive four-month training that started last February 11 to May 31, 2015 of selected CLIMBS employees, which require candidates’ perfect attendance for the entire duration of the training and must have duly undertaken the required basic training in Life and Non-Life Insurance from the IIAP.
The group was further divided into 3 groups: both for defense and company visits, The one-week STRAMA and Study Tour of the MTP candidates started last August 11 until the 14th.
The 18 MTP cancidates were: Maria Theresa L. Seneca of Investment; Ruth Thelma N. Loking of the Marketing Department; Danilo B. Dollera of Life Division; Janyll Rochelle S. Dela Cruz of Cashiering Department; Reynaldo G. San Andres, Rhona P. Kiunisala and Novefe N. Cabalda of Accounting Department.
Also defending their STRAMA were: Regie A. Dailo of Data Management Department; Nancy G. Ortega and Gretchen M. Babanto of Underwriting Department; Virgilio C. Cumba, Jr. and Jade Anthony C. Pilongo of IT Department; Donabelle M. Namoc of Actuary Department; Erlwin C. Mijares of Reinsurance Department; Ruel T. Arsua of Claims Department; Ielyn G. Asay and Louie R. Jopson of Non-Life Division and Margie B. Novela of Davao Area Office.
A study tour of the insurance companies doing business with CLIMBS namely: CocoLife, Charter Ping-An and Paramount Insurance was part of the week-long series of activities capped by a cocktail for the completion of the program.
