“A wise man ought to realize that health is his most valuable possession. – Hippocrates”
One of the good things that ever happened to CLIMBS and its subsidiary, Coop Life General Insurance & Financial Services Agency(CLIFSA) recently is the giving of importance to wellness among employees.
The 7th of August marks the beginning of that wholesome activity. A total of 33 individuals joined the fitness gig at the Pelaez Sports Complex. August 19 was the second session attended by 31 individuals. In the 3rd session: Thursday/August 27 however, the number swelled to 50 individuals. Hence, the fitness activity has become a fixed and regular schedule every Thursday of the week .
Showing support and encouragement, CLIMBS VP and Chief Marketing Officer, Noel Raboy in partnership with CLIFSA took charge of the entrance fees and bottled water for the employees at the Pelaez Sports Center, where CLIMBS and CLIFSA personnel do their physical fitness like jogging, running or walking.
Marketing Assistant: Ms. Ruth Thelma Loking facilitated the distribution of the bottled drinking water to the particiants.
Others with some health challenges, who failed to join the activity came just the same to show their solidarity with the program.
Since motivation is also an added perk: Raboy will give away a jersey dress to all ladies who are able to attend a total of 10 sessions.
Starting September 3, the activity has been established as a regular weekly Thursday fitness and wellness bustle for all employees at the Head Office. Added perks will be given away for those who consistently follow through after having attended 10 sessions to further enhance participation and fun.
Our coop federations must have known better. I do wonder and that is why it’s a big wonder why some of them are now excited to compete with their members.
